The office passed the audit with no non conformities or observations, and are granted MLC certification for a further year. Atlas’ UK Offices Secure Successful MLC 2006 Audits

Recently Atlas’ UK Offices underwent a series of interim audits to confirm continuing compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC). Auditors from the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency attended Atlas’ offices in Bristol, Banbury, Exeter and Newquay to assess compliance. Compliant with Convention: Protecting our Seafarers Worldwide

During 2015, Atlas Professionals have undergone an extensive audit program to confirm that the organisation remains in compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006. The MLC embodies all the current standards of existing international maritime labour conventions and recommendations in order to better protect seafarers and their families. Audits to confirm attestation of compliance to MLC 2006 have taken place for a total of 21 entities across Atlas’ 24 offices, of which 15 offices specialise in the supply professionals falling under the scope of the convention. Atlas Norway Compliant with MLC Certification

The end of 2014 saw the Atlas office in Stavanger Norway achieve a two year QHSE goal. Atlas Cerno AS and Atlas Drift AS were audited and attested as compliant with the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC).
